BRIAN J. CONNORS
President/CEO
Mr. Connors has over twenty years of experience and extensive training from both the Federal Government and private electronic security industry. Mr. Connors founded Flagship Security Systems, Inc. after leaving the United States Secret Service Technical Security Division. His principal vision was to apply the techniques, technology and philosophy of the world’s foremost protective service to commercial and government sectors.
As a Security Specialist with the U.S. Secret Service, Mr. Connors was directly involved with physical security planning and operations for major events including Presidential Inaugural events, many Presidential campaign events, and crisis management immediately following the September 11th attacks. He established and maintained relationships with local police bomb squads and firefighters in order to implement emergency planning in the event of a bomb detonation, fire, chemical, biological or nuclear weapons attack. He was responsible for the design, inspection and certification of intrusion detection, video surveillance, and access control systems at the White House Complex and other key Federal facilities.
Mr. Connors has also owned a security systems/security consulting business for commercial and residential customers; this included managing a 24-hour central station alarm monitoring facility. In addition, he served as a police officer and a paramedic for the greater Boston area.
GEORGE C. AGUIAR
VP, Operations
As VP of Operations, Mr. Aguiar manages the overall operations of the organization. His 20 plus years of experience in project/contract management as well as information technology is essential for the growth and success of the company. Prior to joining Flagship Security Mr. Aguiar managed multi-million dollar contractual operations for statewide transit authorities, state and municipal public safety agencies and other statewide entities. Responsibilities included final supervision of maintenance, service and engineering of mission critical communications and data systems. Mr. Aguiar has also managed MIS operations for retail organizations throughout the Northeast.
Mr. Aguiar is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has completed training from Cisco Systems, Motorola, Microsoft and IBM. He holds a degree in Management Information Systems.
